Blood, Shogo, AvP2…. Condemned probably hasn’t stood the test of time but that was one of the early 360 greats. Yeah these guys should make a Wonder Woman game, good plan

Hopefully the talented devs land on their feet at another studio or launch their own, and get back to making great games and not the slop WB seems to want to produce.

I never even knew that Monolith was still on the go as a studio, that's a very impressive back catalogue of gaming history. WB has the license to Lord of the Rings, DC, Mad Max and Harry Potter to name but a few yet they churn out bloated live service shite and wonder why no one wants to buy them.

You never want to see people lose their jobs of course but all the senior team left years ago and took a lot of staff with them so it's just a name nowadays.

A group of former Metro devs announce new fps...

Crysis 4 is back on the menu boys. Sort of.

That looks quite cool, shame it's tied to Epic only release.

It's been a while since there was a Half Life 3 rumor. Some tweets from people involved in the original and data mining files of other Valve games (why would you put info about another game in those files?). More than likely bollocks but who knows...

I don't think I can muster any excitement for it anymore. The ship has sailed.

I don't remember even being excited by the Episodes when they were announced. I just don't think Half Life 2 is as good as the wider community thinks it is. Alyx was much more interesting, but then that was a VR showcase more than a Half Life game.

I'd play one quite happily, but it's almost 20 years since Episode 2 came out. A not insignificant part of their expected audience weren't even born when the last major release happened.

I liked HL2 a lot when it came out, but it was already diminishing returns by the episodes. They should honestly can it and never release it, at this point unless it's literally the best game of all time it will just be a massive disappointment versus decades of expectations.

Alyx finale has a major impact on how Ep2 ends so I wonder how they would handle that.

A new Styx game has me incredibly excited, genuinely some of my most fun stealth runs took place in Shadows and Shards.

Leaked pre-alpha footage from the Battlefield 6 test play. It looks pretty basic and whoever recorded it is shockingly bad. Shows good bit of destruction and nice smoke effects, very BF3. Not the most entertaining viewing but interesting.
