I'm going to assume Scrancher will also eat croc-meat. Good thing you pre-cooked it all yesterday, because today there's gonna be no fire...

Shivering and wet, you huddle in your balloon-tent and await the dawn.

Day 3

In the morning, once more the Bean Bunch pack up their wet gear and continue their trek down the Scorned Path.

Time for everyone to make a WITS test to search for (hopefully) clean water...
My fire is more than can be made with forests,
My state more base than are the basest valleys;
I wish no evenings more to see, each evening;
Shamed, I hate myself in sight of mountains,
And stop mine ears, lest I grow mad with music.

2-1 :lol:

Assuming that's another 2d20 to see whether or not Doc poisons himself, that's a 4 and a 15 (think I get a +1 to those rolls for Grit)

Just out of curiosity, does this world have things like werewolves, bigfoot and wendigo?

No. Though weird stuff happens, this ain't clear-cut 'weird west'.

Okay, Scrancher and Cadaver Kid have drunk poisoned water; time for a GRIT test, each of you!

Nat 1. :-&

Incidentally, we’ve just finished a D&D session when I rolled a nat 1 about 10 times. Not a night for playing the lottery. :lol:

Urgh, you're both not doing so well...cold, wet, tired and now your bowels aren't happy on top of that.

Somebody roll me a d100 for the daily 'event'...

While Cadaver Kid and Scrancher are feeling very sorry for themselves (and very sick), a lone rider comes galloping down the Scorned Path ahead of you, heading in the opposite direction to you.

As she approaches, the Bean Bunch see it is an enchantingly beautiful dark-skinned woman, mounted atop a swift race-horse.

A cloud of dust on the horizon suggests she is being chased or followed.
