Scrancher offers Rose some of the berries, whilst aggressively chewing a portion of horse.

He also would have replaced his hunting rifle for the long rifle from the mercenary booty.

Rose begrudingly accepts your offer of the berries and roots.

Where are we on the map btw?

You're three days in to a 16-day journey between Palace and Groutbight Docks.

You're aiming for a half-way rest-stop called Hopeful Creek (not on the map), which is another five days' journey away.
My fire is more than can be made with forests,
My state more base than are the basest valleys;
I wish no evenings more to see, each evening;
Shamed, I hate myself in sight of mountains,
And stop mine ears, lest I grow mad with music.

The thought occurs that we may not want to venture into a town wearing the spoils and riding the mounts of a group of lawmen who recently left in pursuit of a criminal...

They're not lawmen. They're the Leadsworn Knights; think of them as "Militant Masonic Mormons". They have their own agenda, but it's nothing to do with law.

Sure... but my larger point is we may not want to swan into the town they're from with all the stuff we robbed from their corpses on full display.

One horse looks like another. It's not like you're wearing their armour or carrying their banners...

Let's hide the bodies very well just to be sure.

Also the relic, which was stolen from there...

Speaking of which...who's got the relic and what are you doing with it?

Would it be possible for Doc to store it in his medical bag?

Also, if Rose is going to be camping with us, Doc will be sleeping like Gandalf guarding the Palantir...

All right. With some effort, the Bean Bunch hide the bodies of the dead knights, and their heraldic paraphernalia, under some piles of rocks, off the beaten track.

By the time they're done, their bellies full of horse-meat, the stars are out and the night is drawing in. They retire to their tent.

DAY 4

When the sun arises this day, Rose is dead, lying in a pool of vomit.

(seriously, I rolled a 1 when I rolled to see if she passed a GRIT check for eating the poisonous berries)

Though they still have plenty of food, which will last a day longer thanks to the horse-meat they ate yesterday, they'll need to search for water today.

Everyone roll a WITS test to see if you're able to find (non-poisoned) water...

Doc examines Rose's corpse, holding his hat to his chest. "Darn it, looks like a heart attack," he intones.

He'll observe a respectful minute of silence... before cutting off her head and attaching it to his saddle.

100s is 100s, after all...
