Not really...but you could bundle up her head in her clothing, like a bag? Keep in mind you're also riding the horse she stole, so returning that may be another good sign?
Looks like Scrancher and CK have found more poison-water. Each of you make a GRIT test, please!

Scrancher's okay; I guess your guts are somewhat used to it by now...

When no-one else is looking Doc will bottle up some of the vomit and poisoned water to make a miraculous new concoction...

GRIT: 7 - 1 = 6
I’ll use my ace to re-roll: …and it’s another nat 20!

Re: Scene VII: The Scorned Path (Scum on the Trail)
I don't have it on record that CK has an Ace. Last time you rolled a d20 I gave you a new skill instead of an Ace...
BUT, I will let ya get away with it this time!
This time I am giving you another skill, the same skill Doc has:
Faker's Fortitude
Whenever you drink alcohol, or poison, you test Grit on 2d20, or suffer the negative effects.

I thought you got an Ace every time you rolled a natural 20 (which I did a couple of pages back)?Stormbringer wrote: ↑Tue Jul 01, 2025 8:58 amI don't have it on record that CK has an Ace. Last time you rolled a d20 I gave you a new skill instead of an Ace...

I think Doug has started to mix it up a bit by sometimes giving us new skills instead.Wrathbone wrote: ↑Tue Jul 01, 2025 9:11 amI thought you got an Ace every time you rolled a natural 20 (which I did a couple of pages back)?Stormbringer wrote: ↑Tue Jul 01, 2025 8:58 amI don't have it on record that CK has an Ace. Yeah, when you roll a nat. 20 you either get a new Skill (based on what you were testing for) or an Ace.
At first I decided I would only hand out Aces but I've figured that some survival skills may prove necessary in this harsh environment!
Doc, you've made somethin'...roll me a d12 to see what!

By mixing vomit with poisoned water you've made yourself a bottle of Cactus Juice!
It settles your stomach, giving you -2 on the roll requirement for whatever your next test is.

Now we've got the search for water sorted out, let's see what random event this day brings...
Someone roll me a d100!
