So the first single for my band is coming out tomorrow and the guys asked me to do the artwork for it based off an Instagram post I made with a collage of my recent Inktober efforts. It was pretty nice to have a reason to push a project to a higher rendered, finished state compared to my usual sketch and forget style. That said, having completed the process there are definitely things I will do differently next time and have also identified what areas I could do with more practice in.

This is the final version I did that I was happy with before I put it to the band and we had a discussion on what changes people wanted. Collectively we decided to go for a slightly stripped back version without the broken mask for the final artwork that's being released tomorrow, but I liked this one too so I thought it'd be a shame to not share it somewhere.

This thread deserves a revival as I always looked forward to seeing everyone's work so if anyone else has anything to share please do. I thought I would share one of the best Father's Day presents I ever did receive in the form of a portrait of one character that I've been somewhat obsessed with since 1999 after having the same exact Phantom Menace poster adorning one of my walls for decades - one that my daughter always loved due to a particular standout design, she secretly worked on this during college breaks.

She really captured his raw animalistic intensity and vengeful bitterness.

Figured I'd share this here as music is art! Also, couldn't be bothered making a new thread in the Music page just for this.

Made this for my wedding as I've always loved this music. Nothing will ever beat the violins for this, I even tend to dislike any covers of it on other instruments (looking at you, bagpipes...), but I'm happy with how this turned out.

That comes up as private for me. Can't see it.

Nor can I.

Ah, just checked and YouTube has set it to be public by midnight...

Should be listenable now.

Very nice. Used to be obsessed with that tune.

Finally starting to get the joy out of drawing again after a very long break. Just doodling a bit every day really helps.

Most recent piece here is a study from the official 40k artbook. Quite proud of how it turned out.

Currently writing new material for a Prey one-off special (back in contact with my old self-publisher as of a few months ago) this was my secondary cover stand in which isn't complete and now won't be used that I did during a somewhat restless night. I'll post the first choice somewhere down the line sometime before and (IF!) I get to print later in the year.

Working title right now is P R E Y: Digital Death.

Prey has to take on a new kind of Cartel group who have descended upon Horn's Head City intent on bringing a new style of drug distribution system aka digital highs known as 'Collapz' which they want to spread far and wide throughout HHC and beyond. While not properly venturing into pure Cyberpunk territory, it will bridge a gap between a city overtaken by something that will all too quickly becomes near impossible to control and the clock is ticking almost instantly.

There's also a very specific reason as to why they have chosen HHC to launch as ground zero. Something or even someone.
I'm aware Collapz is a terrible name, in the process of tweaking that one.
