I think 'stay a while' is better because it's nice and simple without being cheesy. The Gamers Arms name makes it pretty clear what the general nature of the site is.

Space Invader looks OK. I don't like the double quote, think it should just be 'Stay a while'.

Maybe we just don't need an image and it should just stay as the text.

I think quite a few of these are fine tbh. We could always make slight adjustments in the future. Perhaps do what DJ suggests and go with a slightly more plain one to start with.

Once the logo & themes are sorted, there's going to be a much bigger question looming; what ideas do any of us have when it comes to trying to increase the population and actively go out and get new members? We'll probably have to start talking about it at some point.

I'm hoping that my idea for the new main site is going to generate enough traffic that we get a few registrations out of it.

If anyone else has any ideas then they should definitely shout out though.

Cool. There's also the possibility of some of us signing up to various other places - with a small gaming section (I have 1 or 2 sites in mind) - and inviting people over here directly. It's not perhaps the nicest way to do it, but if it gets in more members who cares.

Although I'm not much of a gamer myself any more, it's clear this place needs to be focused around it - and the more you have the more OffTopic activity it will breed (gamers are typically also into film/tv/music/etc). Would be lovely to see it get active enough to have a bit of a buzz.
