Surprising how many crap audibooks are on things like Audible then, because I could never have imagined that many of them doing particularly well and it must have cost the authors a pretty penny to have them done. They aren't all enormous monstrous tomes like yours though, is that 250,000 words just for the second book alone?

First. Second is more like 300k -_-

Even the 75k novella-ish I just put out would cost me the better part of £2k. From this guy anyway. There are no doubt cheaper out there, but unless their fee is close to MM's I doubt I'd be able to stretch to it...

I saw this post the other day - i've been totally remiss in congratulating you on the third book Sly! :D

Alas, it shames me to say i still haven't finished book 2. I'm still fairly early in, but i think i picked it up when i had a bunch of other stuff on, and i've not really picked up a book since then.

I will get around to it, and this one, in due course!

But seriously - i'm very impressed by what you've achieved!! 8-)

Yeah, congrats on getting your latest book published Sly. It's quite a serious commitment just getting one book all the way through to publishing, and you've done several now so well done!

Read it, rated it, will pop a review up soon.

It felt a bit like one of the side-arcs in TW3 for some reason - no idea why. Very nicely written though mate, positioned just under the line of demarcation beyond which lies Grimdark.

Thanks mate - will take that as a compliment as TW3 is the best-written game I've ever played :)

I was going for sort of a fantasy-Sherlock Holmes type affair, which I suppose the Geralt of the games kinda is.
