I suspect this is one of those things where they've given the job to the office junior, and then someone higher up has signed off on it because they don't understand TikTok trends (not that I can claim any better here). You would think that any sort of media professional would consider that maybe using any sort of foreign language material without translating it is... risky. it's like one of those stories where someone gets "Translation Server Error" tattooed on their arm in Japanese.
Also maybe hire an actual professional instead of trusting your public messaging to AI.

Even ignoring the translation thing, in what world did a gargantuan, ripped bulldog in a police uniform seem like good messaging? May as well put Judge Dredd on there.

MODERN LIFE SUCKS!
How did we end up in this dimension! The world has gone batshit.

I think I honestly find the use of AI art - both generally, and that AI art in particular - even more offensive than the choice of music

TalkTalk's new 940 Mbps broadband deal.
I was within Virgin Media for years on end, supposedly getting a 1Gb service that I paid £75 a month for. For that price, I had a dodgy connection that would regularly cut out throughout the day, Wi-Fi that didn't cover my whole house, and in reality I had 900Mbps download (on a good day) with 30 Mbps upload.
One day, a few weeks ago, I got a leaflet through the door from TalkTalk, saying: "We're offering 940 Mbps, FULL-FIBRE, for £28 a month. Erm...INSTA-BUY? Now I have perfect 940 Mbps download AND upload, brand new Amazon Eero 6 routers that cover my whole house, no connection failures, and all for less than half the price of Virgin. Insane. But I'm grateful!

ChatGPT.
Amazing tool. I use it practically every day, for a multitude of reasons. It's a lot better than it used to be in 2023, but the constant pressure to upgrade to the paid version is becoming increasingly annoying.
As such, I am starting to appreciate Google's Gemini a bit more.
