Fechr eat math rock.

You sit, spellbound, as Fechr enunciates his desires so perfectly. You are convinced that this is the right course of action.

I don't have any powers as far as I'm aware.

Is that your daily Powers or your daily "Am I going to die?" roll?

Oh yes; Fechr is too...simple...to use Powers.

6. Grin, the Heretical Priest
  • The Altar
    • You were born on a celestial altar. Sacrifice promises rewards. Before the game begins, you may subtract points from your four Abilities and add the subtracted points to other abilities. For example: Strength +1 could be reduced to Strength 0 in order to make Presence +3 into Presence +4. No ability can ever become greater than +6. You can subtract into the minuses as well, but no more than -3.
Honestly I have no clue what might be a good, bad or simply amusing change to make, so I will leave it up to Grin.

Grin actually had a fantastic idea for a build that would have made El Gaucho weak at the knees in admiration. Sadly, Grin is also a complete spam satchel who struggles to remember his own name, and promptly forgot the idea. Grin has settled on exactly the same stats as the gods saw fit to bless him with in the first place.

EDIT: Grin rolled a 3

EDIT 2: Doug is too fast for me, but ignore EDIT 1

Very well!

Oh, Snowy doesn't need to roll for Powers, as with his heavy plate armour he can't use them anyway.

That applies to you too, Wrathbone (sorry, I forgot about this earlier): you can't use your magic scroll if you wear your chainmail.

That being the case, you can sell the scroll for 50 silver and buy something else if you like!

So (forgive my ignorance) we use a D4 dice for this powers roll?

If so: 4+2

That's right! Great!

That's everything we need to start. I'm just going to make a Google Docs sheet with everyone's profiles on, which we can all refer to, then I'll post up the adventure in a separate thread.

Just occurred to me:

Lord Margar's star sign enables him talk to animals, and thanks to a weird dream he understands the songs of worms and insects.

Barbarister the horse talks to him. So does his sword.

What if...nobody else hears the 'magical' sword or the 'magical' horse talking, except Lord Margar? What if they're not really talking at all...he just thinks they are?

In that case I’ll sell it and buy back my blanket and some leather horse armour, for a total of 34 silver, leaving me with 16 silver.

HERE IS A LINK to everyone's character sheets.

(they're all tabs within the same document)

I will edit these as and when you make changes during the adventure, but if you could check them over and make sure everything is present and correct, that would be great.
