“Sorry ‘bout that. If you ain’t a Loudmouth, a clown, a crocodile, a coyote, a corrupt sheriff or a dagnammit snake then you’re the only dang thing not to befoul this evening and I’m pleased to make yer acquaintance. What brings you out this way?”

Doc will lead the others in stacking the bodies of the sheriff and deputies into the bathroom of the main house. That done he'll light a smoke, and flick the lit butt into the bath full of moonshine, and he beats a hasty retreat back outside.

I guess we should probably introduce ourselves properly to the newcomer

Y'see, it was only a number of weeks ago that I was swindled out of an not unsubstantial amount of coin by a scoundrel named Roach and his chicken. You fellas wouldn't be familiar with them would you?"
